    We are seeking an experienced Invoicing/Billing Manager to oversee our billing operations and ensure our customers timely and accurate invoicing.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to consistently meet tight deadlines. This position will create and maintain billing policies and procedures, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and develop strategies to improve billing efficiency and accuracy.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    Reviewing service contracts to determine if a completed work order is billable.
    Interacting with Field Service Technicians/Service Managers to clarify completed work orders.
    Monitor and track outstanding customer balances, ensuring timely collection and follow-up on overdue payments.
    Strive to improve customer satisfaction by building relationships with customers and understanding customer needs.
    Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
    Prepare and issue a high volume of invoices to customers, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to billing terms.
    Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and accuracy and implement strategies to achieve these goals.
    Actively partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Service & Maintenance, IT, and Contracting) on order to cash processes that improve our ability to efficiently collect cash and service the customer’s invoicing needs.
    Leverage Agile methodologies to improve processes with the tools and resources immediately available.
    Contribute to the development and maintenance of billing policies and procedures including credit and corrected invoices, monthly customer billing, and credit memos.
    Provides excellent customer service to all contacts; communicates and acts in a professional manner with customers, co-workers, and vendors. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job to ensure continuity.
    Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with company policies and procedures; follows safety policies and practices, works in a safe manner, and immediately reports unsafe activity and conditions to supervisor(s).
    Provides support and assistance as needed. Performs other duties as requested.

    Qualifications:
    High school diploma or GED equivalent.
    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field preferred.
    5-7 years of progressive billing, contract life cycle, dispute resolution, or related experience, preferably in the construction or service industry.
    Ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
    Ability to effectively lead and manage assigned staff.
    Ability to apply company policies and procedures.
    Ability to negotiate effectively.
    Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    Strong customer service skills.
    Familiarity with current Agile methodologies.
    Skilled in using computers and work management related software applications in proficient manner.
    Ability to work under pressure and/or frequent interruptions.
    Perform arithmetic computations accurately and quickly.
