Harrington Family Health Center, a community-focused Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Harrington, Maine, is seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing and Project Management Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will lead marketing initiatives and manage strategic projects that enhance our visibility, strengthen community relationships, and improve healthcare access in our rural service area. You will oversee digital marketing efforts, public relations, rebranding, and grant management, and contribute to the development of strategic initiatives that align with our mission.
Role Overview
As the Marketing and Project Management Specialist, you will report directly to the CFO and play a key role in promoting our healthcare services and managing crucial projects. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that resonate with our rural community, including TV media creation, public relations, and rebranding efforts. Additionally, you will manage content across multiple platforms, ensure brand consistency, collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, oversee grant-funded projects, and manage resource allocation to optimize organizational efficiency and impact.
This position is integral to our mission of providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to the community, and your work will directly support our efforts to expand services, enhance patient experiences, and increase our reach within the region.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
· Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that effectively communicate our healthcare services, considering market trends, demographics, and community needs.
· Plan, create, and manage TV media content, including commercials and public service announcements, to promote HFHC’s services and health initiatives.
· Develop and execute public relations strategies to build and maintain a positive public image, manage media relations, and handle press releases, media inquiries, and community outreach.
· Lead rebranding efforts, including the development of a new brand strategy, design, messaging, and rollout to ensure alignment with HFHC’s mission and goals.
· Create, write, edit, and manage content across various platforms, including digital media, social media, print communications, and the health center website, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines.
· Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including social media management, SEO optimization, and online engagement strategies. Manage the design, development, and maintenance of the health center website to ensure it is accessible, user-friendly, and effectively communicates our services.
· Design and develop print marketing materials for community outreach, tradeshows, conventions, and other events that effectively promote HFHC’s mission and services.
· Leverage the support of the community by building relationships with local organizations, partners, and stakeholders to enhance outreach efforts and drive patient engagement.
· Audit and ensure brand consistency across all marketing platforms, both digital and print, maintaining a cohesive and professional image for HFHC.
· Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and digital content, providing insights and recommendations to the Executive Team to optimize future strategies.
· Coordinate with Community Health Worker(s) to participate in healthcare events, such as community health fairs, seminars, and educational programs, ensuring they are aligned with the HFHC strategic objectives.
Project Management
· Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key strategic initiatives, develop detailed project plans, and oversee the execution of projects that align with HFHC goals.
· Write, manage, and report on grants, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with funding requirements. Seek out new grant opportunities to support organizational growth.
· Manage project resources, including budget, staff, and materials, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, keeping them informed about progress, potential risks, and project outcomes.
Requirements
· Education
o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
o Master’s degree is a plus.
· Experience
o A minimum of two years of experience in marketing and project management, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit environment.
o Experience with grant writing and management is highly desirable.
· Certifications
o PMP (Project Management Professional) certification and Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
· Skills
o Advanced or expert-level experience with web analytics tools, web design, and content management systems.
o Proficiency in Adobe Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, After Effects, etc.).
o Experience with TV media creation, including scriptwriting, video production, and editing.
o Strong understanding of public relations strategies and rebranding processes.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
o Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Starting at $50,000/year, Competitive salary based on experience.
