Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our team. The Project Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing detailed proposals. Projects will be primarily swimming pools and hardscape. It is a must that the candidate have a minimum of 3 years experience in construction estimating and possess strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Duties:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation
- Utilize construction estimating software
- Prepare comprehensive proposals outlining project costs, timelines, and deliverables
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges or cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing for materials and equipment
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and pricing
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
- Assist in value engineering efforts to identify cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality or safety
- Coordinate with project management team to provide ongoing support during the construction phase

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Proven 3 year minimum experience as a Project Estimator in the construction industry
- Proficiency in construction estimating software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project documents and specifications
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
- Knowledge of cost control methods and techniques
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
