Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Prepare detailed and competitive bids and proposals for commercial roofing projects.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline the estimation process and ensure accuracy.
• Stay informed of industry trends, material costs, and labor rates.
• Participate in negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
• Provide support to project managers and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze and interpret drone inspection flight data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a commercial roofing estimator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including asphalt shingle systems and single-ply roofing systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
