The Position
The Manger of Project Management leads the Project Management team in support of the largest project rollouts across Quench. The Project Management team works in coordination with Sales, Supply Chain, Scheduling, Field Service, and the Customer to ensure a successful completion of the stated scope of work. Whether that is installations, replacement swaps, or large-scale maintenance projects, the Project Management team is the central point of contact to ensure the project is completed on time and on plan. The Manager of the Project Management team will oversee those projects to ensure the team has the resources, reporting, and leadership needed to succeed in this role. The Manager role is the direct leader of the team and will handle coordination across projects.
Responsibilities
· Lead the Project Management team. Directly manage the Project Management team in all facets of the role, including subject matter expertise, day to day leadership, handling escalations, and all HR related items.
· Work seamlessly cross-functionally. Build strong working relationships across Quench to deliver successful results alongside Sales, Field Service, Scheduling, Supply Chain, Finance, etc. for what the Customer needs.
· Define project SOPs and adherence. Build and improve upon standard project templates, starting at intake, management, and close-out, to ensure consistency and success across all projects.
· Support direct customer interactions. As needed (working with the Project Management team and the Sales team), lead project kickoff meetings, interact with end-customers on questions and escalations, and provide a direct line of support to ensure the end customer needs are met.
· Shape project reporting. Define project metrics of success to measure progress, working with the Business Intelligence team as needed. Ensure that metrics are tied to the success of the team as a whole and are measurable and actionable. Regularly monitor metrics for progress, putting into place action plans where needed.
· Champion Quench success. Be a change agent representing the best of what Quench has to offer in a leader, ensuring that your team’s feedback is heard and addressed, representing the needs of your team with other leaders, and ensuring Quench communications are heard and understood by the Project Management team.
