LEO is looking for a proactive, self-starter who desires to be part of solving one of the most critical issues our nation faces today-poverty. The Project Management Specialist, a member of LEO's Administration team, will provide key support to strategic initiatives, executive operations, quality assurance, and process improvement.

The Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO) at the University of Notre Dame is a research center dedicated to reducing poverty and improving lives in the United States through evidence-based programs and policies.
Who we need:
We are looking for someone who wants to change the face of poverty in our country and believes that impacting poverty is possible. The Project Management Specialist's top priorities will be:
- Strategic Initiatives - Work cross-functionally with LEO team members supporting projects that require expediting and extra-hands on-deck. Align resources and systems in order to successfully plan, execute, and close projects that advance the mission for the agency to aggressively eradicate poverty. Examples include working with LEO's finance team to track and report monthly expenditures with excellence and precision.
- Executive Operations - Provide administrative support to the Associate Director of Administration, including scheduling, follow-up from calls and meetings, and coordination of travel through LEO administrative staff. Serve as proxy for Associate Director of Administration in meetings and discussions, as needed.
- Quality Assurance - Support quality assurance across the LEO Administration team through metric reporting and internal audits. Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and internal audits, for example, through support of LEO's finance and fundraising teams in these areas.
- Process Improvement - Support process improvement across LEO's Administration team, including but not limited to hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and reporting processes.
This is a 5 year limited term position with possibility of renewal.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and relationship management skills and excellent project management abilities.
Required:
- A deep commitment to the mission of both LEO and the University
- Bachelors degree
- Three or more years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft suite and Google applications
- Detail-oriented, logical, and highly organized
- Ability to learn and optimize use of LEOs project management platform, marketing automation system, and file storage system
- Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency
- Ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and take on additional responsibilities as required by business needs, facilitating a prompt response to requests
- An ability to thrive in a small and dynamic team while effectively navigating a large University environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak effectively, present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees of the organization.

- Ability to create timelines for projects that are realistic and know the correct way to manage, scope, time, and budget with each project.
