Project Manager - Construction directs day-to-day construction project management planning and execution processes to meet project design requirements, schedules, and organizational financial objectives. Manages governance of projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools for effective project management throughout the project lifecycle. Being a Project Manager - Construction uses comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and operations to set project productivity and quality targets. Monitors all project milestones, changes, and technical status reports. Additionally, Project Manager - Construction manages strategic client and contractor relationships and establishes clear lines of communication. Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions. Analyzes project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems and propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Project Manager - Construction supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Project Manager - Construction typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     NOOTER is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management team in Pembroke, Kentucky. This role would provide direct oversight of field construction projects by leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of the schedule, budget and scope. Additionally, this individual may need to ensure that all projects meet the company's safety and quality standards.

    • Employ organizational skills that effectively minimize obstacles that negatively impact operations. When obstacles arise, employ sound decision making/problem solving skills to resolve issues.
    • Incorporate positive interpersonal skills when communicating or interacting with clients, subcontractors, vendors, craft and personnel.
    • Plan and monitor all financial obligations of project including, but not limited to, budgets, earned vs. actual comparisons, and monthly forecasting utilizing Company's accounting software.
    • Monitor/control construction through facilitation of supervision to ensure project is completed on schedule, within budget, and safely.
