Project Manager - Construction directs day-to-day construction project management planning and execution processes to meet project design requirements, schedules, and organizational financial objectives. Manages governance of projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools for effective project management throughout the project lifecycle. Being a Project Manager - Construction uses comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and operations to set project productivity and quality targets. Monitors all project milestones, changes, and technical status reports. Additionally, Project Manager - Construction manages strategic client and contractor relationships and establishes clear lines of communication. Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions. Currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with commercial ground-up project experience to work locally within Lake Charles, LA.
This is a full-time position. Office hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday 7:30 am to 2:30 pm. Must be available to work any hours outside of office hours as job demands require.
The rate of pay is based upon experience between $100k-$120k.

Summary of role: The Commercial Project Manager will be able to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously. This position plans, directs, coordinates or budgets, usually through estimator, superintendents and foremen, activities concerned with the construction of commercial projects. Participates in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversees its organization, scheduling, and implementation. They also mentor, coach and supervise Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
