  • Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is looking to bring on board a highly knowledgeable and experienced Federal Construction Project Supervisor to join CCI General Contractors, LLC. The ideal candidate should exhibit deep experience in taking charge of projects in the range of $2M - $15M, with exposure to projects up to $22M being an added bonus. The Federal Construction Project Supervisor will be responsible for the management of the building projects to ensure that they are completed on time, follow safety guidelines, are of optimum quality, and adhere to the set budget. We currently require an individual to take on the role of $5M Design-Build activity for the development of the MARSOC Assessment and Selection Training Facility in Norfolk, VA, and they will be surrounded by a specialized team, including a Quality Control Manager and a Superintendent/SSHO.Compensation:

    $100,000 - $130,000 yearly

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage project from proposal stage through closeout
    • Handle any issues that arise resulting from unforeseen conditions
    • Effectively manage and build teamwork within the project execution team
    • Manage subcontractors through project completion
    • Coordinate with Quality Control and Safety representatives
    • Direct project activities to ensure conformance to the project budget, plans, specs, and schedule
    • Forecast project cash flow in relation to the project schedule
    • Track the financial performance of projects
    • Prepare project reports for management and clients
    • Interface with Client
    • Maintain our excellent reputation
    • Manage overall project team activities

    Qualifications:

    Training/Specialized Experience/Certifications:

    • 15 years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
    • 5 – 10 years of Federal renovation and repair-type construction
    • Management of Design Build and Bid Build projects
    • Ability to help decipher and solve technical issues relating to construction
    • Strong customer service ability

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in engineering, construction, or a related field preferred
    • US Citizenship required

    • Annual salary is dependent on experience and qualifications

    Working Environment:
    Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

    Physical Requirements:
    This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection.
