    Summary
    DPS Group is seeking a Project Planner Scheduler to support a large pharmaceutical capital construction project in Holly Springs, NC. This position will be responsible for visiting job sites to review job status, drafting, updating and reviewing project schedules, and driving adherence to pre-set project timelines.
    This position is based in Holly Springs, NC, and the chosen candidate is required to live in the local area.

    Responsibilities
    • Participates in all phases of the construction planning & scheduling process, including the creation of proposal schedules, baseline schedule and ongoing schedule updates.
    • Utilizes working knowledge of client’s scheduling software (Primavera P6).
    • Develop reports and perform historical trending research.
    • Update schedule status weekly, biweekly or monthly, depending on the project/program.
    • Participate in project team meetings including financial forecasting session to ensure schedule and cost alignment.
    • Interface with other departments and within the department and represent Project Management/Controls regarding schedule process and procedural issues.
    • Ensures that all projects are statuses, placed in service, and closed out in appropriate timeframes in all operational systems.
    • Ensure adherence to the scheduling procedure by developing weekly, monthly and long-term detailed critical path schedules.
    • Perform workload, and union impact analysis, and forecast needs for internal and external resources.
    • Participate in job walkdowns in the field.
    • Prepares, builds and updates project schedules collaboratively with the project team.
    • Performs schedule reviews to ensure effective and efficient best practices for scheduling are utilized. Diplomatically communicates review comments to the project team.
    • Visits job sites regularly to review job status and applies construction sequencing knowledge to accurately update the project schedule for assigned projects.
    • Participates in job pre-planning meetings, post construction meetings and monthly project status review meetings.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Skills and Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related
    • 3 years planning and scheduling experience in pharmaceutical/biotech construction
    • Highly proficient in using Primavera P6 software
    • Strong understanding of construction and engineering throughout project phases
    • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
