Proof Operator performs a variety of clerical functions relating to check processing, deposits, withdrawals, and payments. Operates a proof machine which encodes and endorses checks and deposits. Being a Proof Operator finds errors and makes appropriate reconciliations, adjustments, and corrections. May be responsible for batching and distribution. Additionally, Proof Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Proof Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Shift Availability:
Monday - Friday
- 1st Shift: 7am - 3pm
- 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11pm
- 3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am
Position Summary:
- Locate and follow Quality Plan and Work instructions.
- Follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) in performing a variety of tasks, including any secondary, and rework actives such as: packing, sonic welding, printing, assembly, flash trimming, cleaning and sorting.
- Extract parts from a press while maintaining the expected cycle times, trim or assembly as necessary and box, stack, and label according to the Work Order instructions.
- Perform quality checks
- All other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
Position Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write and speak English. (bilingual is a plus!)
- Basic Math skills (adding/subtracting/counting parts)
- Lift up to 50lbs periodically
- Ability to push or pull 200lbs with the use of a pallet jack
Work Environment:
Typical Warehouse/Production manufacturing floor setting. There may be exposure to dust, noise, and fumes in production area. We are not a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Working in elevated heat conditions may be required.
