Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Digital Marketing Proofreader for a long term, full time contract. Proofreaders will have the opportunity to work directly with copywriters, designers and developers. The primary responsibility of a Proofreader is to ensure that the content we create for our clients' digital marketing communication remains error free and up to the standards PureRed has always produced.

What you'll do:

• Review creative content to ensure that each component of copy, offer and visuals are polished, error-free, match price-points and associated offer language/disclaimers for accuracy 
• Ensure the content meets the desired quality standards by checking the style, tone, structure, grammar, and other important aspects match the clients’ needs and consistently adhere to brand style guides and digital specifications
• Support the development of digital assets including web, social, and display – checking against digital proofs and staging drafts for accurate text and layout
• Review and confirm the sensibility of click through’s and immediate user experience 

Requirements

What you'll need:

• Working knowledge of tools (Office, Basecamp, Acrobat, Planner, Litmus and Bugherd) and concepts of proofreading/quality assurance
• Experience working on a big brand  with established brand guidelines, and varying promotional strategy
• Ability to work productively in a team environment, managing your time effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic understanding of digital user experience
• Reliable transportation to Stamford, CT 1-2 days/week

This role is a 40 hours per week contract, requiring 1-2 days per week on-site in Stamford, CT.
