Property Acquisitions Associate collects, analyzes, and interprets data used to evaluate potential property acquisitions. Researches market trends. Being a Property Acquisitions Associate performs financial and risk evaluations of potential acquisitions. Conducts due diligence on properties to be acquired. Additionally, Property Acquisitions Associate assists with drafting contracts or leases and may participate in negotiations. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Property Acquisitions Associate work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. RESPONSIBILITIES:
~ Conducting move in, move out, and occupied unit inspections. Delegating work orders, lease-up, qualifying applicants, completing annual certifications, ordering supplies, and collecting rent among other duties.
~Experience in affordable housing is preferred, but we will consider other management/program experience.
~Applicants must have a professional appearance, be computer literate and have a strong ability to work with the general public, specifically seniors.
~Duties will include oversight of daily operations, pre-qualifying applicants, leasing, overseeing maintenance and grounds employees, conducting occupied inspections, organizing work orders, ordering supplies, annual recertification's, etc.
-This position will require a lot of walking and the ability to climb stairs.
