Investigates potential property acquisitions or dispositions. Being a Property Acquisitions Manager performs or facilitates inspections and assessments of possible property acquisitions. Monitors market trends and competitor activities. Additionally, Property Acquisitions Manager structures and negotiates purchase or leasing agreements. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Property Acquisitions Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Property Acquisitions Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities and Duties
Meet with homeowners in their homes and develop unique solutions to their problems.
Negotiate and close purchasing opportunities.
Create new business relationships through networking.
Make offers daily on real estate assets that meet our investment criteria.
View properties that we are considering purchasing to develop an investment analysis packet
Determine the comparable sales (comps) of the prospective property.
Continually review and report on quality of lead sources.
Qualifications and Skills
