The Curriculum Designer I will play a pivotal role in the success of EIM’s mission with our University Partner (UP) stakeholders. The person in this role works closely with faculty and subject matter experts (SMEs) responsible for creating and delivering online and hybrid courses that enrich the student experience across UP clients and academic disciplines (i.e., DPT, OTD, PA, etc.). The Curriculum Designer I will report to the Curriculum Manager and support UP faculty in the development, delivery, and evaluation of assigned academic curricula to enhance the delivery of graduate healthcare curriculum and create systems for collaborative course and content development.

Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to the following)Knowledge of curricular and instructional design in online learning. Understanding of inclusive/accessible learning best practice for the development and support of academic courses across UP programs.Provide faculty with training as it pertains to the module build process and ensure faculty has access to any systems or resources needed to ensure the overall success of a course build.Develop and apply Quality Matters to discipline-based curricula and learning outcomes.Collaborate with faculty in the development of interactive learning activities that align with course objectives, achieve program learning outcomes, and provide valuable curricular assessment data.Assist in promotion of courses and instructional content within the EIM Open Education Repository as a service to developing programs. Advocate for faculty participation in building upon the OER.Support faculty in developing instructional content based on established project timelines for each UP program.Promote the importance of considering course design and integrating e-learning technologies to enhance the student learning experience.Collaborate with Instructional Developers in innovative and improved learning solutions through the production and delivery cycle.Effectively engage with Curriculum Manager to prioritize and communicate project status and/or delays.Respond to Faculty and Student Support Center (i.e., Freshdesk) tickets as assigned. Provide or coordinate direct support to faculty or students in response to these requests.Provide on-call, after-hours (i.e., evenings, weekends) help-desk support, on a rotating basis, to UP faculty requests in our Faculty and Student support center.Provide curricular design expertise for the development and support of academic courses across UP programs.
