Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring efficient management and excellent customer service. Your role will involve supporting the Property Manager in various administrative tasks and providing assistance to tenants, owners, and vendors.
Duties:
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of property management, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information, leases, and contracts.
- Answer telephone calls pleasantly and promptly. Take accurate messages.
- Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a friendly, professional manner.
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants and maintain high occupancy rates.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for property repairs and maintenance.
- Enforce lease agreements and ensure compliance with fair housing regulations.
- Assist in the process of inputting invoices.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Familiarity with fair housing regulations and legal administrative procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with property management software is a plus
- Conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes effectively
