Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. In this role, you will assist the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in property management and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. Is able to speak fluently in English and Spanish.
Duties:
- Assist the Property Manager in managing all aspects of property operations
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify any issues or areas for improvement
- Assist with tenant relations, including addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring tenant satisfaction
- Assist with the leasing process, including marketing available units, conducting tours, and screening potential tenants
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities, including leases, maintenance requests, and tenant communications
- Assist with financial management tasks, such as rent collection, budgeting, and expense tracking
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure quality service delivery
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to property management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of property leasing procedures and practices
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, such as Section 8
- Proficiency in using property management software (e.g., Appfolio) and computerized maintenance management systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for tenant interactions
- Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
