Position Overview:
Lone Mountain Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the construction process and play a vital role in the construction process and will be responsible for working with both GC’s and Project Owners. The ideal candidate will be expected to successfully deliver construction projects from start to finish while ensuring the safety of our people. A successful project manager will be expected to deliver construction projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with General Contractors (GCs) and Project Owners to plan, execute, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
3. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project objectives.
4. Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
5. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
6. Prepare and present regular progress reports, financial forecasts, and other project documentation to stakeholders.
7. Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members to promote collaboration and ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to continuously improve project management processes.
9. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams to promote professional growth and development.
10. Contribute to the strategic growth and expansion initiatives of Lone Mountain Contracting by identifying new opportunities and participating in business development efforts.
Qualifications:
1. Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish, preferably in civil and specialty construction sectors.
2. Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
3. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
4. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field a plus.
5. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
7. Leadership qualities with a focus on team collaboration and motivation.
8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail.
9. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
10. Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as needed.
