Education & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, required.
● Two to three years in wireless technology, required.
● Two to three years in Cisco Technologies, required.
● Three to four years in PC and networking technology, required.
● Four to five years in networking, required.
● Five to seven years management/supervision, required.
● Two to three years engineering, preferred.
● Certified Cisco Network Associate or MCSE, required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
● Knowledge of networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
● Knowledge in hardware provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
● Knowledge of system administration, including system maintenance, workstation support, Internet connectivity, security services, redundancy, disaster recover, load monitoring, and back-up procedures.
● Knowledge of telecommunications technology and terminology.
● Knowledge of PC, laptop, and server hardware and computer operating systems including Windows, Unix, and OS/400.
● Knowledge of design, implementation and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks.
● Knowledge of database support systems.
● Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
● Skill in customer service and customer relations.
