PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER manages the operations of a healthcare provider network. Responsible for establishing and maintaining processes and systems to provide routine services to members including contract management and credentialing. Being a PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER recruits, hires, trains, and measures performance of staff to provide effective and operations within budget. May be involved with the design and operations of database systems used to manage provider data and produce reports and analysis. Additionally, PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Daily Responsibilities of a Provider Network Coordinator- The provider engagement administrators will work with provider offices to manage performance and drive performance improvement.
- Serve as primary contact for providers and act as a liaison between the providers and the health plan
- Triages provider issues as needed for resolution to internal partners
- Investigate, resolve and communicate provider claim issues and changes
- Educate providers regarding policies and procedures related to referrals and claims submission, web site usage, EDI solicitation and related topics
- Evaluates provider performance and develops strategic plan to improve performance
- Drives provider performance improvement in the following areas: Risk/P4Q, Health Benefit Ratio (HBR), HEDIS/quality, cost and utilization, etc.
- Present detailed HBR analysis and create reports for Joint Operating Committee meetings (JOC)
- Develop proficiency in tools and value-based performance (VBP) and educate providers on use of tools and interpretation of data
Provider Network Coordinator Requirements:- Bachelors Degree
- 3 years of provider relations, provider claims, or provider contracting experience
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid
- Strong computer skills
- Good job tenure - 1-2 years in previous roles
- WFH Capability - smart phone, private work space, high speed internet
- Clear and active DMV report, reliable transportation, and active insurance
Location: Remote in New Hampshire *may be provider office visits involved
Hours for this Position: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Start Date: As soon as Possible
