Additionally, Provider Programs Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Provider Programs Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Job Summary
    Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned Division of Workforce Partnerships initiatives workforce programs including grants, contracts and projects.

    Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned initiatives, ensuring projects meet the needs of partners and key stakeholders such as local employers, government, non-profit agencies, and economic development organizations

    Collaborate with partners including CCRI faculty and staff and external stakeholders to support assigned programs, further objectives, and increase training opportunities offered through Division of Workforce Partnerships initiatives.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Work with the Directors and Coordinators to coordinate scheduling, staffing and logistics of workforce trainings.
    • Assist the Director and Coordinators in hiring, supervising and evaluating classroom instructors.
    • Coordinate support services for workforce development students.
    • Coordinate the ordering of books and other materials for classes; arranging for their delivery.
    • Coordinate the setting up of registration and registering students for classes, including preparing paperwork and certificates of completion when applicable.
    • Maintain appropriate records and provide summary report of activities as needed or requested.
    • Function as an active liaison between business, industry, community partners and academic departments.
    • Promote offerings and direct the development of assigned workforce initiatives with employer, industry, and community partners.
    • Undertake strategic projects and initiatives (research, reporting, software testing, etc.) and other related duties as assigned.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of comprehensive community college.
    • Work collaboratively with others in a diverse and inclusive environment.

    Minimum Requirements
    • Associate Degree with 3 years of experience, or Bachelor Degree
    • Demonstrated program or project management experience.
    • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
    • Strong command of MS Outlook tools, especially OneDrive, MS Excel, Outlook and Word. Experience with MS Teams or other collaborative software tools is a plus.

    • Experience working with representatives from business and industry in identifying and delivering industry workforce training needs is desired.
