Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Classification: Non-Exempt

Status: Full-Time

Reports to: Supervisor, Core Specialty Operations.

Purpose:

The Provider Relations Coordinator I maintains communications with key providers and provides high touch services to these entities within the Pharmacy Operations department of PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy. 

Responsibilities:

• Acts as primary point of contact for specialty referral sources.
• Drives intake process from receipt of referral through initial dispense.
• Coordinates efforts among internal departments to ensure goal turnaround time.
• Maintains service levels and performance guarantees.
• Additional projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Excellent communication skills and 1 year of experience in pharmacy operations.
• Knowledge of CPR .
• Licensure Required: N/A.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of specialty pharmacy experience.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
