Provisioning Logistics Analyst

Job Description

 

The provisioning analyst will be responsible for identifying, selecting, provisioning coding, determining initial requirements, and cataloging of items to be procured or supported through the product life cycle. The analyst will be responsible for data cleansing and scrubbing of the Provisioning Master Record for legacy systems in addition to identifying errors and adequacy of technical data for National Stock Number (NSN) assignment. The analyst will code data in accordance with Army Two-Level Maintenance, Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Requirements and regulations and updated RPSTL's. Individual will also be responsible for identifying existing items already within the supply system, interchangeable and suitable substitute items and researching sole source or hard to procure items to avoid diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages.  Other responsibilities include:
 

• Loading the Provisioning Master Record (PMR) and building Provisioning Bills of Material (PBOMs) in LMP
• Reviewing engineering drawings to determine the repair parts to be loaded into the PMR.
• Reviewing maintenance plans/procedures to assign appropriate Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SMR) Codes
• Screening cataloging files to ensure that the prime part numbers are selected
• Assigning NSNs to new equipment
• Reviewing ng Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to determine the logistics impact
• Perform re-provisioning effort for the CALSETS Systems to ensure the database is compatible with CM Tools database
• Support Physical Configuration Audits (PCA)

Job Requirements

 

• A Bachelor's Degree is desired but directly relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience
• Must qualify for a Secret Clearance. Inability to obtain or maintain a Secret security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
