Psychologist - Ph.D evaluates patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Diagnoses disorders, including nature and extent, and determines the appropriate course of treatment for the patient. Being a Psychologist - Ph.D uses talk therapy to treat patient illness or distress, cannot prescribe medication. Requires a PhD in clinical psychology. Additionally, Psychologist - Ph.D requires a valid state license to practice. Typically reports to a medical director. The Psychologist - Ph.D works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Responsive Centers currently has over 40 clinicians who include psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, and master’s level therapists. Responsive Centers has in house credentialing and billing service in place which has resulted in a high payment collection history. Our office is located in the central business hub of Overland Park with very easy patient access.

    Position Summary:
    Responsive Centers is looking to add multiple psychologists to its growing private practice group. All of these positions are 100% outpatient. Psychology providers can provide services either on site or via TeleVideo. We are looking for psychologists who are interested in general adult, child & adolescent and geriatric sub-specialties. We can be flexible on the schedule and fit whatever time that works for the psychologist. These positions can be full time, part time, after hours or weekend hours. Duties include providing initial psychological assessments, psychotherapy, and psychological testing services. 
     
    Qualifications/Skills:
    • PhD licensure.
    • Kansas License required.
    • Having additional Missouri License would be helpful.
    • Ability to utilize and document in electronic medical records.
