Position Summary | UNM-Taos is seeking a talented and experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our dynamic communications and marketing team. As a Public Relations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting UNM-Taos and its various academic programs, resources, and initiatives to prospective students, the public, and key stakeholders. This position requires exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of marketing and communication strategies, and a passion for higher education and the Taos region. As a successful Public Relations Specialist, you will work closely with the Business Communication and Marketing team to enhance the visibility and of UNM-Taos. Your efforts will focus on writing and producing public relations collateral, while collaborating with the team to develop integrated marketing and public relations campaigns that align with the overall goals and objectives of the organization. This is a hybrid position with work performed on site and remotely. This is a part-time position with possibility of full time dependent on funding and department need. Why work at UNM-Taos? Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
