Position Details

We are seeking a certified, highly qualified candidate to join our crew, part time Future Proud Michigan Educator Explore program teacher and PowerSchool Admin, hours to be determined based on applicants qualifications.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

• Maintaining regular communication and positive relationships with students, parents & families, and colleagues;
• Providing daily Tier I instruction in grade-level;
• Identifying and providing Tier II intervention for grade-level;
• Working closely with Title I and special education staff to address the needs of students at the Tier III level and beyond;
• Working with school staff to identify and implement behavior supports for individual students;
• Documenting student data, and collaborating with appropriate individuals to promote ongoing student achievement;
• Participating in individual professional development and working with an assigned mentor to develop needed skills.
• Provide faculty and administration support for PowerSchool operations, report retrieval, and class population / scheduling

Candidates with current State of Michigan teacher certification, along with highly qualified status in this content area, will be given preference.
