PISD WILLIAMS ACE COORDINATOR is now hiring a dynamic and experienced Lead Teacher for our AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM in Pasadena, TX!

Requirements:

• 1 year experience in Early Childhood Education; or 1 year education and 5 years experience in Education; or 2 years experience in Education; or 1 year education and 7 years experience in Education.
• Must be willing to complete background check
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be available Monday-Friday from 2:30-6:00
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

• Develop an educational program suitable for the needs of young children including but not limited to: SPECIALTY CLASS
• Plan activities designed to promote the abovementioned skills including: child-centered play, arts & crafts, nature exploration, etc.
• Provide entertainment for the children including: reading stories to kids by our librarian or do crafts with kids using our painting materials.
• Implement a variety of methods (including the above) to promote the abovementioned social skills including: child-led activities, outdoor play, etc.
• Provide examples of appropriate social skills
• PLAN LESSON PLA ACTIVITIES
• CLEAN UP
• TAKE ATTENDANCE
• HELP WORK FAMILY EVENTS

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
