As a Driver at Collinwood, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and comfortable transportation of our senior residents to various destinations, such as medical appointments, social outings, and shopping trips. You will play a crucial role in their well-being and quality of life by providing exceptional customer service and care during transit. Available shift is Monday-Friday; hours will vary depending on resident's needs. Assistance in the activities department is required when the transportation schedule is not full. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Education/Experience: High school degree or equivalent preferred. Previous experience working in a care facility desired.
Working Environment/Physical Requirements: Position requires some strenuous physical work such as loading wheel chairs into van, assisting residents with walkers, canes, etc. or those who become unsteady or fall. Heavy lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently.
