A Fairview, PA location is looking to partner with new associates to support exciting new growth and opportunities.

Objective: Looking for a good hard-working Purchasing Agent for a Full-time 1st shift position, M-F.
Attendance is important. Must arrive on time and work scheduled shift.

Beginning Pay: $35-52K/year based on experience and skillset

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Available and reliable transportation
• Willingness and Ability to pass drug screening
• United States work authorization.
• Positive attitude

Job Requirements:

• Evaluating suppliers by considering price, quality, availability and other criteria
• Interviewing vendors to learn about products, services and pricing
• Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best deals on behalf of the company
• Creating and supplying purchase orders on behalf of manufacturing and recommending alternatives for better quality and/or more cost effective options.
• Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors
• Authorizing payments and maintain receipts, records and inventories
• Attention to detail
• Self motivator who takes initiative to make improvements for the company.
• Good communication skills and can work well with our team.

Experience:

• Purchasing: 1 year (Required)
• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Microsoft Outlook, Excell and Word: 1 year (Required)
• ERP system: 1 year (Required)
