Expedites delayed orders and resolves issues with changes, returns, replacements, and credit arrangements. Additionally, Purchasing Clerk coordinates with internal teams to ensure that procurement needs are met promptly and efficiently. Requires a high school diploma. The Procurement Manager at St. Charles Health System manages and leads a team of professionals in support of enterprise-wide procurement/purchasing activities. Responsibilities include strategic planning and sourcing, process/project management development, managing and maintaining procurement technology, developing and maintaining the supplier program, and staffing and implementing the most effective procurement processes. This work is done in collaboration with the Logistics, Accounting, Finance, Grant, Quality, and Information Technology teams and suppliers to identify and drive total delivered cost savings, security of supply, innovation, and process improvements. The Procurement Manager collaborates with departmental leadership to continually monitor approved vendor performance, ensure each departments supply needs are fulfilled, and develop and execute initiatives to streamline the procurement process. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory filings and laws. This position manages assigned caregivers.
