Purchasing Clerk, Sr jobs in Philadelphia, PA

CAPP, a leading supplier of HVAC, electrical, plumbing parts & equipment, is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented individual to assist in our purchasing department. This is an entry level position and all training will be provided.

Job Duties:

• Follow up on orders, track shipping, delivery, etc
• Support purchasing clerks and supervisors
• Provide excellent customer service and vendor support
• Communicate with vendors, team members, and sales team
• Enter order information into ERP system and generate POs

Required skills and qualifications:

• Hardworking and goal oriented with great attention to detail
• Customer-service oriented and able to communicate well with others
• Team player who is flexible and adaptable with changing business needs
• Solid technology skills (VOIP phone system, Google Suites, Excel)

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• High School or equivalent
• Previous experience in HVAC or related industry preferred
• Knowledge of purchasing process
• Previous experience with SAP/equivalent ERP system
