Summary/Objective
The ability to work efficiently to achieve goals and meet deadlines is a must as this person will coordinate the entire vendor and customer credit process.
Essential Functions:
Organize and track all vendor return credits, to include monitoring return restocking and freight charges.
Requesting return authorization for damaged, defective, dead or overstock materials.
Filing and follow-through freight claims for damaged, short and missing materials.
Approve all non-stock, direct, and customer credits including restock and freight charges when necessary.
Enter return-to-vendor purchase orders, receive, and reconcile the return.
Track freight and restocking charges.
Maintain defective bins at all locations and process monthly returns on schedule.
Negotiate and resolve freight disputes and problems with preferred carrier.
Assist buyers in coordinating monthly/semi-annual returns, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
Develop positive relationships with vendors.
Support all the company-endorsed product lines with focus on I-MARK manufacturers.
Work closely with all internal departments, combining efforts to better serve the customer.
Perform other duties as obvious or assigned.
