Job Description
Coordinates purchasing and pricing information management processes including but not limited to: costing, ensuring system data integrity, mediating field/trade communications, and assisting in the development of housing budgets.
As a Purchasing Coordinator you will be responsible for generating purchase orders, job starts, administration of variance purchase orders, and various other administrative duties.
Responsibilities
· Generate, proof & finalize budget reports for new home starts
· Review and process change orders
· Process approved PO revisions
· Responsible for preparing, submitting, and tracking monthly utility rebates
· Assist accounting with month-end budget scrubs
· Assist accounting with review of payments against closed homes and notify trade partners of unsubmitted invoices for homes closed
· Assist trade partners with billing issues
· Responsible for updating and maintaining vendor pricing and record keeping
· Process change of vendor requests/approvals within purchasing guidelines
· Contact Field Managers or New Home Consultants when necessary
· Assist with monitoring all trade partners to meet all insurance requirements
· Helps to compile cost comparisons between vendors to assist in pricing negotiations.
