Sustainable Talent is searching for a Purchasing Coordinator to support our client, a global leader in laboratory sciences and diagnostic testing.
This is a W-2 full-time Temp to Perm position based out of Framingham, MA. This position is for the 1st shift: Monday to Friday 8a-4:30p. Pay is $20-21/hr based on experience with full benefits and opportunity for permanent employment with the company.
As Purchasing Coordinator, you will be the main Purchaser for Boston Heart, responsible for placing orders, opening inventory that comes into the lab. Reaching out to vendors, coordinating with lab management, and finding alternative items for cost savings.
What we need to see:
Degree in Supply Chain Management/ finance preferred and/or 1-2 years of experience as a purchasing coordinator in a medical related field.
Attention to detail.
Strong Organizational skills.
Must be able to work Monday to Friday 8a-4:30p
Fluent in all MS office programs.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to meet time constraints and work well under pressure.
Experience working within supply chain or warehouse.
Cost savings experience. **
