NTA, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Administrator at our headquarters in Huntsville, AL. Duties will include working closely with technical personnel to verify a thorough knowledge of the purchase requirements; ensuring quality specifications are translated into purchasing requirements; working closely with accounting personnel to provide accurate and timely purchasing documentation to support accounts payable (AP) and customer billing; providing status on outstanding deliveries; establishing and maintaining list of current approved vendors; and providing administrative support across all procurement categories as needed.



Education and Experience: :

• Bachelor's degree in from an ABET accredited institution

• 2 years of experience in Purchasing

Required: :

• Organizational skills to reconcile and maintain packing documentation, purchase orders, vendor bids, invoices, and other applicable purchasing records

• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to provide a high-level of customer service to internal and external clients

• Ability to prepare and analyze complex technical specifications and bids

• Proficient skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite

Desired::

• Deltek Costpoint experience

• Accounts Payable experience

• Knowledge of Government purchasing practices and procedures (FAR, ITAR, etc.)

U.S. Citizenship is required.
