Vander Haag's, Inc. is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization in the heavy-duty truck parts industry. As a leading player in the market, we have experienced tremendous growth in recent years, expanding our operations and footprint to 10 stores throughout the Midwest. To support our continued expansion and maintain our position as a market leader, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing Director to join our corporate team.

This position will interact with a wide range of internal and external customers so strong interpersonal communication skills are required. The right candidate should also be fluent in Excel and comfortable with navigating the Internet as well as internal software programs

Responsibilities of the job include:

• Leading, supporting, and providing guidance for the Purchasing team.

• Managing vendor relationships and negotiating pricing with vendors.

• Reviewing stock levels with the Purchasing team and setting min/max levels.

• Developing and implementing purchasing strategies that support Vander Haag's, Inc. goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management.

4 year degree in business, supply chain management, or related field is required.

Compensation: This position is paid on a salary basis with compensation level dependent upon experience.

Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday.
