Purchasing Supervisor supervises daily procurement and purchasing operations and implements the strategy to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing. Maintains strategic supplier relationships, negotiates pricing, monitors performance, and expedites to respond to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain. Being a Purchasing Supervisor collaborates with other functions to meet current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels. Utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands. Additionally, Purchasing Supervisor performs auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Purchasing Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Purchasing Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Norfolk Kitchen & Bath is a leader in kitchen and bath design and our Sales Support team is responsible for the servicing of internal and external customers in regard to general inquiries, order processing and scheduling.
You will work with other departments with a common goal to provide the best customer experience. We have a talented team of 30 designers as well as a construction design build group and our projects range from smaller kitchen remodeling to a full remodel.

What do we do?
Primarily we design beautiful kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces and sell the cabinetry, countertops and accessories for the space.
We also have our legacy location in Boston which is where Norfolk Hardware & Home Center is located supporting the local community with their hardware and DIY projects.
Our commercial sales division supports the multifamily sector and our manufacturing shop supply these customers with countertop materials.
