Position Summary:
Insights, the research arm of CAQH, is responsible for managing the coordinated CAQH data-driven research agenda consisting of both internally identified and externally focused research projects. The research portfolio is comprised of both ongoing established projects, and new research opportunities focusing on the adoption of healthcare data exchange standards and their impact on the administrative workflow between providers and health plans.
The Sr. Healthcare Research Analyst serves a critical role in helping lead the healthcare industry in measuring progress towards full automation of administrative transactions and helping evaluate healthcare operating rules and solutions to simplify administrative business functions by moving to electronic processes. The position will lead and manage research projects and an annual survey data collection initiative. Data and analytic skills will be used to measure and report on the time and cost savings associated with streamlining administrative business processes across the healthcare industry. The position will work with the Sr. Director to lead and draft reports and issue briefs related to findings and insights.
The Sr. Healthcare Research Analyst reports to the Sr. Director, Insights. This is a is a full-time, remote, exempt position.
Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 annually.

Ability to oversee and execute a multi-stakeholder annual data collection effort from survey design through report release.
Develops and implements research designs and methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and analyses.
Experience in survey cleaning, weighting, and estimation.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic capabilities to compile, distill, and interpret data.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to clearly convey findings and insights to broad audiences.
Understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle and the key parties involved is desirable.
Ability to take complex topics and synthesize into user-friendly documents such as issue briefs, PowerPoint presentations, and annual reports to stakeholders.
Strong experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle and the key parties involved is desirable.
Ability to simultaneously perform multiple assignments and follow work plans.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Desire and ability to learn new and challenging content areas.

Experience:
Minimum of six years of related work experience in the healthcare industry with a bachelor’s degree or minimum of four years of related work experience in the healthcare industry with a master’s degree.
Proven ability to lead and manage a complex research project involving survey data collection, including the design, execution, analysis and reporting of the research
Experience using statistical software programs such as R or Stata to analyze and manage data
Knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, healthcare administrative transactions, and/or healthcare data exchange desired.
