Herald Christian Health Center is active recruiting for a Director of Quality Assurances. Under the oversight of the Chief Quality Officer (CQO), the QA Director is responsible for the development and maintenance of the organization’s quality assurance program and risk management program. This position is also responsible for maintaining the health center’s accreditation status for ambulatory health care and certification status for primary care medical home recognized by The Joint Commission. This position is also responsible for the planning and coordinating the implementation of grant projects from its application, approval, utilization and reporting.
Qualifications
1. Nursing degree or Master degree in Public Health preferred but individuals with experience in leading a quality improvement/assurance program may be considered.
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in managing Quality Improvement/Assurance in a healthcare facility, preferably with a FQHC in CA.
