Quality Assurance Engineering Supervisor jobs in Danbury, CT

As a Product Inspector (also known as Quality Control Inspector, Quality Assurance Technician), you'll perform complex inspection activities to assess the conformance of products to design as defined by engineering drawings and/or models. You'll inspect products, components, subassemblies, and systems, implement innovative solutions, support Quality Engineers, prepare inspection plans, and specialize in various inspection processes.

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years of experience in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in a related field.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing standards (such as J-Std-001/IPC-A-610) or common mechanical techniques (such as geometric dimensioning and tolerance practices).
• Proficiency in Blueprint Reading, Quality Inspection Experience, and Electrical Troubleshooting Skills.
• Experience using measurement devices (calipers, pin gauges, go/no-go gauges, etc), reading mechanical drawings, and using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Optical comparator or other complex inspection systems.
• Must meet security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
