Quality Assurance Engineering Supervisor supervises inspections of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. Assists in the development of quality standards and protocols for quality assurance testing models. Being a Quality Assurance Engineering Supervisor designs and implements policies and procedures for testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or equipment. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Quality Assurance Engineering Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Quality Assurance Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for verification of units placed on project work by both internal and external OSP placing crews.
• Identify construction installations that do not meet Wire 3 specifications
• Review drawings and finalize as-builts for final records
• Communicate project risks to the Construction Manager as they arise.
• Assists in implementing project/program plans as assigned
•Work directly with Field Supervisors on areas of completion and inspection ready segments of construction
• Provides documentation, reports, and information to Regional Management as directed.
• Utilizes the established company tracking methods and systems to report crew productivity for reporting weekly job progress on the work.
• Requires extensive walking, bending, and lifting of 50 lbs.
• Computer skills with Excel and Word are required.
