    Job Description

    AECOM is seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Manager to be based in Oakland, CA .

    JOB SUMMARY:

    As part of the owner's representative construction management team, oversee the design-build contractors' administration of their Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs for a multi-billion dollar rail-transit program.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Implement and establish a systematic approach to oversee contractor's quality control procedures and processes

    • Review each contractor's QA and QC Plan for compliance with contract requirements for its applicable scope of work

    • Perform audits of the selected design-build contractors including subcontractor and suppliers and their implementation of approved QC and QA procedures throughout project delivery phases. Provide corrective action recommendations

    • Manage the NCR/NCN process

    • Provide written and oral reports as required

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • BA/BS 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Rail/transit construction experience

    • Experience with design-build delivery

    • Bored and mined tunnel construction experience

    • Experience with FTA-funded projects

    • Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $154,000 - $270,000.
