Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a related industry, a Bachelor's degree in an applied science, engineering or related field, and the ability to meticulously manage and maintain quality control processes and documentation.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Fenton, MO (On-site)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (Depending on Experience)

Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, implementing, and enhancing our Quality System and Policy. You will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise to drive quality and performance improvement throughout the company while ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2008 standards and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain our quality inspection and release program for incoming and in-process materials and components.
• Oversee manufacturing and quality control documentation for all manufactured materials, establishing and assessing product specifications for compatibility with customer requirements.
• Liaise with customers' auditors to ensure compliance with customer standards and expectations.
• Manage and maintain calibration logs to ensure all required equipment is in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Identify relevant quality-related training needs and deliver necessary training to staff.
• Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems pertaining to QA/QC.
• Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and providing statistical reports to the company's management team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in an applied science or engineering field.
• Ideally, 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including experience in quality management systems and quality system audits.

Additional Information:

This position involves a combination of laboratory work and quality assurance responsibilities. Flexibility in hours is required, and while some aspects of the job may be repetitive, they are essential for ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
