May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of the person in this position is to assist the Quality Control Manager and Asphalt Manager with customer assistance, record keeping, data entry, payroll, and scheduling.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
This person will have the responsibility of daily data input from multiple sources, assisting customers with QC inquiries, tracking and maintaining payroll records, distributing daily reports, assisting with QC purchases, tracking terminal liquid asphalt inventories and purchases, and other miscellaneous duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for this job should have good writing and computer abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Equally important, the candidate should be customer oriented with good communication skills and able to work easily with other employees.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment in designated operations and construction areas as outlined by OSHA, MSHA, and state agencies.
Protective equipment that may be required, but not limited to, for this position : Hardhat, safety glasses, face shield, welding helmet, reinforced toed shoes, hand protection, respirator, air monitor, reflective safety vest.
