Quality Control Analyst performs various scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods and ensure compliance with established standards. Conducts and validates various biological and chemical quality control (QC) assays. Being a Quality Control Analyst compiles, interprets, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations. May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Quality Control Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     This position is based out of Arlington, Az., 40 minutes west of Phoenix.  You park your vehicle in the employee shuttle lot at 7909 South 331st Avenue, Tonopah, AZ. You ride on the shuttle to the desired processing plant location. 

     

     

    Overview:

    Under the Direction of our Food Safety and Document /Audit Team, this position is responsible for implementing and consistently monitoring every aspect of Safe, Quality, Food, SQF, and food defense and bio security protocols. Assist with all audits of egg processing, animal welfare, bio security, and feed safety/quality as directed.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Verify quality parameters to ensure compliance with Company policies, standards, customer assurance requirements, cGMPs, and all applicable USDA/FDA requirements

    Lab Duties: you will be provided with continual training to process all labs as needed by the above programs. This includes physical, microbiological testing, chemical titration, and environmental monitoring. 

    Continual document compliance of food safety/quality programs. 

    Perform regularly scheduled pre operational verifications of sanitation.

    Daily audit of procedures and records processing

    Training and compliance of food/feed/animal welfare and personnel safety standards

    Communication and notification of non compliance to appropriate teams as soon as possible for all corrective actions

    Inventory of all required BIO PPE/safety tools 

    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications: Completion of National Egg Quality School. Each task above must be performed to a standard of excellence. 

    College degree is preferred. College reimbursement tuition is available to all employees. 1-5 years experience in lieu of a college degree. 

    HAACP mastery

     Experience with Word/Microsoft, willingness to train on all software. NAVision is current operating program. Purchase Order Software training completion.

    Physical Demands: Ability to walk and move about the premises, adhere to all safety standards.
