    Job Title: Quality Control Inspector – Paint
    Department: Quality
    Summary Tests and inspects products at various stages of Painting and Conversion Coating processes. Compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
    • Selects products for testing at specified stages of the Painting and Conversion Coating processes; testing is conducted on product and/or approved samples. These tests include: Temperature, Paint Thickness, Paint Adhesion, Concentration Testing, Titration Testing, and P.H Testing.
    • Visual Inspects parts for acceptance to customer quality requirements on all conversion lines.
    • Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by management

    Education and/or Experience
    High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) and two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Reasoning Ability
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
