Quality Control Inspector jobs in Orange, CA

A rapidly growing Aerospace company is actively looking for enthusiastic & responsible PC - DMIS Programmer. Our company provides a wide variety of services for the aerospace industry and our employees are required to have broad knowledge & experience in the precision machining trade.

Basic Duties:

• Developing CMM inspection programs for new and existing products using PC DMIS software
• Proven experience/ability with mechanical inspection tools - calipers, optical comparators, bore gages, digital height gages, O.D./I.D. micrometers, indicators, gage pins/blocks and microscopes.
• Create documentation necessary to provide objective evidence of conformance to Engineering requirements
• Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled measurement equipment with PC-DMIS
• Create new and correct, modify and rewrite existing CMM inspection programs.
• Perform tests with completed tools to ensure that parts meet specifications; make adjustments as necessary
• Position and secure machine parts on surface plates or worktables
• Perform surface plate layout inspection as required
• Perform other tasks as directed by Supervision/Management

Basic Requirements:

• Ability to read technical drawings, CAD models using PC-DMIS
• Ability for appreciation of general dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• A proficient computer skills.
• Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, manufacturers' manuals, sketches

Education & Experience:

• High School education or equivalent
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Minimum 4 years as a CMM programmer

FULL-Time position of 8-12 hrs Mon-Fri with Sat optional

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
