Building Blocks GFRC is actively seeking a Quality Control Technician to add to our team in Kissimmee, FL. At Building Blocks, we design, engineer, manufacture, and install glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) and glass building facades to fulfill the creative vision of our project partners. QUALIFICATIONS FOR QUALITY CONTROL TECNICIAN:

• ACI & PCI certifications preferred
• Precast Concrete or Ready-mix quality experience preferred
• Construction material experience preferred
• Self-starter capable of delivering on goals with minimal supervision
• Technically proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to write and verbally communicate clearly, bilingual is a plus
• Organizational ability with attention to detail
• Sense of time management/deadlines
• Decision making ability
• Enthusiastic team player with a motivating positive attitude and winning track record
• Industry experience is highly desired
• Ability and willingness to work as many hours as necessary to accomplish duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Fresh and hardened product testing
• Dimensional inspection
• Pre and post pour inspections
• Quality inspections
• QA/QC reporting and document tracking
• Remedial repair control and document tracking
• Communicating inspection results/findings to the Production Team leaders
• Other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
