Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Quality Control Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Quality Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Quality Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The main responsibility of a Quality Control Technician is to verify that an organization's products and services meet industry and government standards.
Employee will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
WASH DRAIN WEIGHTS
NET WEIGHTS
RESIDUAL GAS ANALYSIS
INTERNAL PRESSURE TEST ON ALL RETORT LOADS (POUCHES)
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTIC ANALYSIS
72-HOUR TEST ANALYSIS ON ALL PRODUCTS AS PER MILITARY SPECS.
BATCH FORMULATION CHECKS AND ANALYSIS
PULLING SAMPLES FOR INCUBATION
PULLING SAMPLES FOR FAT AND SALT ANALYSIS
CHECK INCOMING INGREDIENTS PERIODICALLY
VISUAL EXAMINATION TESTS ON POUCHES PULLED FOR TESTING
This position will start at $14.00 an hour and predominantly second shift.

Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
