GENERAL SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, the Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for generating revenue from developing our fledgling LSF Boston based off-site direct to consumer Catering business & Large Scale Off Premise Events
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing a detailed Sales & Marketing strategy for each distinct business area Large Scale Off Premise events & third party direct to consumer Catering.
Making full use of primary platforms including third-party booking/ordering platforms, directories, & publications to maximize visibility, UX, & sales Tripleseat, OT, Door Dash, EZCater etc.
Prospecting clients through field & demographic research.
Qualifying potential clients & business by utilizing & adding to an existing database.
Coordinating booking, meeting locations, & office catering activities.
Creating positive relationships with existing clients & vendors.
Supporting operational & culinary teams in menu & event development initiatives, to enhance offerings & meet market demand as well as client needs.
Identifying tactics to stimulate cross-promotion ideas, protecting leads & opportunities between eComm, PE, & Catering.
Scheduling & conducting sales calls to educate consumers about LSF Catering offerings.
Preparing proposals & contracts for clients.
Handling incoming phone inquiries from clients.
Maintaining client files.
Following up with clients during & after events.
Communicating upcoming events with detailed information to operations team on a weekly basis.
Negotiating with clients through all contracting.
Detailing events to include all food items, AV needs as well as event flow.
POSITION OUTPUTS:
Achieving monthly projected sales goals.
Contacting a pre-determined number of potential & existing clients on a weekly basis.
Creating weekly sales reports of contacts made.
Effectively communicating to support staff & peers.
Creating full proposals of Off Premise Events including all items associated with events i.e., audio visual equipment, rental equipment, tents, entertainment, boats.
Evaluating & reassessing ongoing marketing & sales efforts.

Restaurant / Catering/ Events operations experience
3 Years Sales Experience preferably in catering or hospitality sales.
ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
The environment that this position is in is a professional business environment. There is some event presence required. This position will require local travel as well to meet clients & to visit sites of off premise jobs.
